Reads the Book of Mormon

Oil on masonite.

This painting was chosen for the LDS Church's International Art Competition. A touching story on a young girls faith and desire to know for herself the truth of The Book of Mormon.

Motherhood

Oil on masonite.

This painting was originally meant as a Christmas image, but I felt it captured something more than just Christmas, but Motherhood in general. That warm nurturing softness of a Mother.

More Than Pollen

Oil on masonite.

With all the fairies out there in the flowers, how do the bee's get the nectar and transfer the pollen. I guess they have to wait.

The Mother of the Seasons

Oil on masonite.

I've always thought the symbol of "Mother Nature" or "Mother Earth" was fitting. I wondered how she would bring the seasons. Maybe with a breath?

Empathetic Angel

Oil on masonite.

I've always liked the symbolism of Angels. I thought that they often must feel empathy for us. This piece expresses that feeling for me.
